Today is a weird day. To start off, today was my due date if I didn't miscarry last June. It's a cold and rainy day and "The Hubby" is still out in LA.
The kids are being good for the most part and were are keeping ourselves busy. I feel so crappy today and just kind of depressed. I'm sorry to just go on about myself like that but what can you do?
I wanted also to let you guys know that we are in the process of adding a few new features and I'm hoping to have them up within the next few weeks. I hope you enjoy them.

I'm trying to find a real Pre-K school for "N" since he turns 4 years old in March. I had him going to Mini-Skool which he liked one teacher and and after she became Assistant Director she no longer has a classroom. I have looked on the internet to try and find a pre-k school that's not a daycare.
I know many of you have gone through this and I was just wondering how you found you pre-k school.

The first day that "The Hubby" is gone on a trip we just kind of chill and relax. We were going to do Roller Stroller today but when we got there we found out it was canceled. Not a great start off to our day.
I had to stop by the UPS store real quick then we dropped the car off at home and walked to the park. We got there and it was closed. I guess it just wasn't our day today.
This weekend though was pretty fun. While "The Hubby" and I had to go out Saturday night we stopped by The Disney Store and bought "N" a Woody doll because he's been asking for one.
We gave it to him that night and he was sooo happy and just kept pulling the string and just having fun.
Sunday morning I was cleaning the kitchen and I kept hearing "N" pull the string and it only says five things and this time it said, "My name is Woody" or something like that and it was funny because I could hear "N" in his angry voice say, "I KNOW YOUR NAME IS WOODY!" It's funny because to me that's his way of saying why can't you say more than five things.
We also changed "O's" crib into a toddler bed. She really likes it and stays on her bed after you tell her two times to stay on it. This morning I woke up around 7:15 am and she wasn't awake so I let "N" watch a short movie and we were getting going around 9 am and I still didn't hear a peep out of her. I went in there about 9:30 and there she was just laying chilling out on her bed. Normally if she were in her crib she'd be screaming about 20 minutes after she wakes up. I guess she really like the toddler bed.
I have found that one day a week or so is just ok to do nothing. I found out that it's a little nicer to do it when "The Hubby" is out of town because then the mess won't be so big.
[Saturday, January 27, 2007]
Today I went over to my neighbor's house to help her with her computer and she was really great and offered to watch "N" and "O". I talked it over with "N" and he was totally in to going over. "The Hubby" is going to be out of town for five days and he needed more clothes and I really didn't want to take the kids shopping.
So "Mrs. T" was awesome and watched the kids. It was really great because she fed them for me and they had a totally fun time over there. When I picked them up "O" was playing the the "BB" and "N" was laying on the sofa watching Cars, his FAVORITE movie EVER, and when "N" saw me he wasn't happy because he knew he had to go home. So after almost 30 minutes we were able to get them to leave.
"N" asked when he could go back over and I told them when "Mrs. T" said it was ok and that maybe we can watch "BB" on this week and have fun with him then. "N" was pretty cool about it.
I think "O" had the most fun, she really likes playing with "Mrs. T" and "B". I'm hoping that I can have "O" and "BB" do play dates more often because they are so close in age and really do well with each other.
Thank you again "Mrs. T" you were awesome and the kids loved it too.

These last two nights I have had an iced drink from both and here is what I feel about them. I think they are both highly over-priced and I'm happy that I don't go that often anymore.
Since I have had an iced drink from each place I have found that I really like The Coffee Bean. Both places give me friendly service and I like that, but I can order an iced drink from The Coffee Bean (Black Forest is my fav) and I get excited because I know that I won't be having just some sort of syrup in my drink. When I order the Black Forest it has cherries, chocolate powder, chocolate espresso beans, ice (obviously) and coffee. I can ask them also to not blend as much because I actually enjoy the little bits of the espresso beans.
Starbucks all they use are syrups. To me that makes the drink too sweet. There are things that I know I just can't order because it won't taste the same at every place and some things are just taste bad. When I'm pregnant I always love to get the White Hot Chocolate, but it doesn't seem to have consistency because it's not a thing that ordered often (at least I don't think it is here in Arizona). I also order sometimes a Strawberry and Creme Frappuchino. It's good but I can only drink small amounts because it upsets my stomach, plus that way I can share it with the kids.
Two drinks I really don't like are Double Chocolate Chip and the Vanilla Bean Frappuchino. I'm sure that if they used chocolate covered espresso beans it would make the Chocolate Chip taste better, but then they would have to change the name.
I guess overall it all comes down to what you prefer. I prefer to only drink it maybe twice a month if that. I only went these last two night because I had a free drink coupon for The Coffee Bean. I just can't spend the $4.00+ for a coffee drink when I can go and either buy the cappuccino mix from Walmart for $2 something (that will last me around a month) or spend the $1 something at the gas station.
I consider Starbucks and The Coffee Bean a treat. Just remember though, if you buy one drink from either place once a day, five days a week at $4 something that you are spending around $80 (not including tax and that's with four weeks in a month) a month just for a cup of coffee or what have you. That does add up if you do that five days a week for a year to be $1,040. That's a pretty big chuck of change. That's enough for me to clothe my family of four for two years.

So, the other day I was just surfing the net checking out web sites and I came across this one site and it was cool because this mom had published a cute book.
I have read a little bit of it and I'd like to share it with you. It's called Diapers on a Dime: A New Parent's Guide To Buying For Baby On a Budget. From the little bit that I have read it's pretty good. It's about this first time mom and just the reality of how much money having a baby can be and how to cut that cost.
I was guilty of spending the ridiculous amount of money on clothes for my son and having to put most of it away. Luckily a lot of the stuff I did get from friends I did use and actually passed down to my daughter.
If you are thinking about becoming pregnant or are pregnant I would pick this book up and take a look. Babies are expensive and we all need a little help with the reality of "They won't feel deprived for not having the latest Baby Einstein toy- they will be just fine trying to eat your cell phone." That is a cute little quote from her book.
It is addicting to read and for the part I have read, I wished I had time to read more. Please go check it out and leave feedback on my site as well as her's.
[Wednesday, January 24, 2007]
Lately I have been wondering that. I tell people I stay at home but in a way I consider myself a WAHM (work at home mom). I wake up in the morning, depending on the day what we do. I am a chauffeur, chef, maid, playmate, and I also really try hard to work on this web site everyday.
I'm not complaining in the least about what I do. I find it fun but it feels like I never really get things done. I guess at least I put the TV away so there's one last distraction in the house.
I started this site so people can see what I've been though so if the same thing happened to you, you don't feel alone.
I also wish that I was bringing home a steady salary. "The Hubby" really tries hard and I feel bad because all I can give back to him to show I appreciate him is this web site that I work on very hard, take care of the kids, make sure the house is clean and just support him on a daily basis. I do push him when he needs it.
This web site was really made so it can bring my family (and yours) closer together. I really hope you enjoy it and like the features we are trying to add to it.
[Monday, January 22, 2007]
I have found (as sad as this is) that when "The Hubby" is away on business that I actually get more stuff done. I keep the routine better and I just do what I need to.
I don't mean this in a bad way. I love my husband dearly but don't you find that true too?
I wake up around 7 am (my goal is to be up at 5:30am) and get all ready for the day. After I'm done with getting dressed, "N" is awake and I feed him breakfast. After he's done then "O" wakes up and she ready to eat and while he's getting dressed and so on and so on. We have this pretty good routine going down.
I try to keep our entertainment as cheap as possible so three days a week we go to two different libraries for story time and then one afternoon a week we try (have yet to make it) to a chain-bakery for the kidtivities (free cookie, milk, activity, and mommy time). Since we have pulled "N" out of school I just try to keep us all busy so we don't end up killing each other since I don't let the kids watch TV anymore.
Once in a while I do take the kids to roller-stroller but I have found that 18 month olds don't like to skate. When "N" was that age he hated it but I was able to push him around in the stroller. With "O" she wants no part of it.
But anyway, I have found that if "The Hubby" is away that they don't realize he's really gone and we don't have to go through the whole crappy, Daddy spend time with me, No me, and that whole fun fighting thing. When he's gone that they don't fight because he's not there to fight over.
Anyway, I wasn't really able to get my usual stuff done on the site today and I still can't stay focused right now. I'm sorry that I'm jumping around so I guess I'll just say goodnight and I'll try again tomorrow.
[Monday, January 22, 2007]
This past weekend I redesigned the web site. It only took us a full 24 hours to rewrite it. I hope that everyone enjoys it and we will be adding new features soon.
I'm hoping that that you like the site more and that it's more user friendly. I'm just really excited about this whole thing and I just really hope you enjoy it as much as I really liked reworking it!!!
Enjoy!!!

I love candles. I use them all the time while we are home all day long. Since I buy so much I have bought different kinds and I have found some things out about them.
I'm not a big fan of Yankee Candle anymore. They want so much money for them and they just don't smell as strong as they used to. I buy in bulk because I go crazy if I only have three candles left and they want something like $27.00 for their little plastic pack of 18 candles. They used to give you a deal when they sold them unwrapped but they no longer do that.
I HATE Walmart brand. I can't smell them for the life of me. I have bought different scents thinking that maybe a different one would eventually smell. The only ones that I could smell are the ones I don't like and it's the one in the jars that smell like food.
I have just started going to Pier One. One night we were all out as a family and the "The Hubby" was looking for some Feng Shui type things and we just happened to stop in there. They have a lot of different scents of candles and are cheaper than Yankee and smell pretty good.
I happened to find their clearance rack of candles and I swear I spent something like $50 total and I bought 6 six pack votives, 2 bags of potpourri, 8 pillar candles and 2 boxes of 30 tealights plus 2 cans of room freshener and 4 jars. I bought White Pear and Apple Oak for 75% off. I'm getting dangerously low but even their normal price for votives are $.79.
Someone told me but I don't know if it's true that if a candle is manufactured out of the US then it doesn't smell as strong. I would like to know just for the sake of knowing, if anyone does know.
So that's my opinion on candles but let me know where I can get the most bang for my buck if you know of a place that sells strong, good smelling candles inexpensively.

Today I feel like crap so my blog won't be long (lucky you!). I decided that today we would have an easy day because "The Hubby" is coming home tonight and they are going to get pretty excited. We walked up to the UPS Store to drop of some mail then came home and I let them watch part of a movie till lunch.
Like I said it's a laid back day today. We all ate lunch and they are laying down and I'm about ready to do that too. Hopefully if I take a nap that the headache will go away and we can walk up to the park this afternoon.
If you want to see something crazy watch this: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=ccdde4967e
Have a good day!!!

Everyone says that you need to do something nice for yourself once in a while. Well one thing that I have found I like to do it take a nice hot bath, put some baking soda in it, light the 12 candles around the tub and lock the door. I leave the lights off and just relax.
I think it's nice because I don't take baths very often but it was very nice last week when I took one. I used a nice baking soda scrub on my face and body and decided to shave afterward and my skin has never felt so smooth.
I try to give myself pedicures but I end up scraping to hard and then I hurt myself. I'm all for not spending money even though I love going out to get pedicures.
For those who want to treat yourself BUT want to do it cheap, here are some tips:
- If you want a cheap massage, find a massage school you can get an hour long massage for $25 (depending where you live).
- If you want a cheap haircut and pedicure, find a beauty school because you can get haircuts for $7, color for $20, and different types of pedicures and facials for pretty cheap.
- If you want to try something new with your makeup try finding a Skin and Makeup Institute. I did one and I didn't look like a train wreck. It's nice because it's not in a mall where everyone just stares at you and they students don't push their products when they are done.
I have also learned a trick when I apply some makeup too. Apply clear mascara to your eyebrows and they will look nice a trimmed and fuller. To make your eye lashes feel and look longer, use a mascara brush and dip in in some almond oil. It nourishes your lashes, they grow back quicker, it's not hard to take back off after an evening out, and it's natural. The only thing is that you need to apply some heat to help the lashes dry, so use a hair dryer on low for a minute and you'll be good to go. FYI, a little of both of those go a long way.

"The Hubby" wakes up today at 5am to leave for the airport to go to LA. I decide to do back to sleep for a little but I get a call not to long after he leaves that his car broke down on the side of the highway. I felt bad for him and I offer to help him but remind him that if the car doesn't start that he has to call the dealership to get it towed. Stay there to make sure they bring a flatbed tow truck (since it will void the warranty if it is towed the other way) and so on and so forth.
Luckily he gets the truck running again and gets to the airport. Disaster averted. The kids are still in bed, I'm too awake to go back to bed so I start working on the site. I forgot to mention that he told me that as he was walking out the back door there was a mysterious black dog in our back yard and the only way it could have gotten there was to jump over a five foot wall.
But anyway. I actually made a little progress, took my shower and surfed the net. I don't want to go in the living room because my son is still sleeping and I like it when he sleeps in. So I'm making one of those Hills Bros. Cappuccino things and I hear "N" wake up.
I have him come out quickly so that he doesn't wake up "O" (being a girl, she needs her beauty sleep). I get him his breakfast and then I decide that while he's eating I'll clean, pick up the cat litter, and run the garbage out to the street. Morning off to a great start. "O" wakes up as "N's" finishing breakfast, start feeding her while he gets ready.
Then, BAM!!!! We hit a brick wall. After "O" was done eating I was getting her dressed and then he decided that he didn't want to get dressed and go the storytime at the library. Got through that one ok and we finish getting ready.
We go to the car and we're off. Get to the library with 10 minutes to spare and then "O" decides that she doesn't need to be good and listen to the stories. Man I hate having a daughter sometimes!!! "N" is totally into the storytime and especially after he finds out that there's a 20 minute movie involved. We get done with the storytime and movie and we head out to the stroller.
Then BAM!!! Another wall, this time "O". She's getting all upset because she has to ride in the stroller. I keep telling her that if she was good like "N" that she could walk and not be in a stroller. Oh well. We head home and she decides she really wants to make me mad and takes her shoes off. Fine I told her then you get to go home and go to bed. She did until I made lunch then now both kids are in their rooms, one napping and the other one just playing around.
BTW. Does anyone know how to stop a one and a half year old from sucking her fingers? I put Tabasco sauce on but found out she likes it and she doesn't mind when I put that no bite nail polish on.
[Monday, January 15, 2007]
When I woke up this morning I did not have a headache or anything from last night. But it was a very trying day. My Scooba just quit working and spend another 50 minutes on the phone with iRobot (including wait time) and find out that I'm going to be without it for something like two weeks while I send mine to them and then wait for them to send me a new one.
While on hold I was able to help cut "Hubby's" hair, run Scooba anyway and surf the net. After all that was done "The Hubby" decided to take a shower, while he was doing that I decided to clean up the countertop, separate the dirty clothes and then wait till he was done.
I took my shower and while in there I cleaned it too. Got out and had to put contacts in because my glasses lost the stupid screw for the nose piece. Well after all that fun stuff was done I go take a load of laundry to the washer and then I'm told to take care of "N".
He decided to poop in his underwear and then use a whole roll of toilet paper and flush it. You know what happens when you do that. So luckily I still have plastic gloves from the old days of cleaning and dug it all out. Then I cleaned his butt up and sent him to his room until lunch.
"The Hubby" made lunch for us so I had them sit down and as usual I finished first and waited for them. I'm gone for literally two minutes and there are peas on the freshly cleaned floor (now I know my floors are clean enough to eat off of, but this is ridiculous). I've been waiting for them to eat for about 15 minutes and gave up told them to eat, they didn't so their lunch was thrown away.
"N" pitched a fit and "O" was like whatever. I got "O" cleaned up and put in her crib and "N" I let cry for a few minutes and then went in to talk to him and we came to an agreement and he fell asleep.
So right now we are all fine because they are sleeping and I'm able to work.
[Sunday, January 14, 2007]
I swear that I won't ever do this again! When I was in my early 20's I would drink so much that I think I still had a hangover and taste beer the next day when I went to work. I was still a little crazy after I got married but was slowing down. I got pregnant and obviously stopped. After I had my first beautiful bundle of joy I would have a glass or two once a week just because I could.
After my daughter (maybe it was her, maybe not) when I would drink I would break out in hives and fell really hot. So I then became the designated driver (cool, I know we'll all get home safe then). Well I have been able to drink lately but realized I don't like the way any alcohol tastes. Tonight me and "The Hubby" had our first ever Chianti, I had a glass and a sip. Man I swear I will NEVER drink again.
I feel like I have to vomit and massive headache. I now have learned that no matter what, I am never to drink EVER again. It's amazing I was able to live so long when I was younger. What's sad is that I'm in my late 20's now and I have learned this already but know I'm not as young as I used to be. THANK GOD!!!
[Sunday, January 14, 2007]
Ok, so I was guilty of cleaning but not really cleaning. It's where you move stuff from one place to another but never actually finding a permanent home for it. I know so many people who do this or just don't clean ever.
I know a few people who haven't actually cleaned their house is ten years. I thinks it's disgusting and when I end up going there for an extended period of time, I try to clean while they are gone so they don't get mad at me right away. I know that it's their choice to live that way but I can't stand when then the kids and I have to live in it too.
I know a lot of people who clean the way I used to, not finding a home but clean around it. Either way is a bad way. You want your kids to grow up being good clean people. You have to lead by example. You can't make them clean their room if you don't clean yours or the house in general.
I have found that if you take just three hours, you can reorganize your home without spending a single dime. I only did this because I got rid of the TV and realized how messy our closets and office were. I spent three hours and I reorganized my bedroom, office, living room, two kids rooms, kitchen cupboards, and two closets. It doesn't sound like fun but once you start you just can't stop and in no time the house is totally clean and it's easier to maintain.
Once the house is organized and you get rid of the things you just really don't need. You find a home for things you just can't get rid of and things you use everyday, you are able to start to just maintaining and not really have to clean.
I run my Scooba (do not use on unsealed wood or Pergo type flooring) three times a day for three different rooms and Roomba run a few times as well for the living room and three bedrooms. It makes life easier to have them do it because it's less things I have to to. I have the kids pick up their rooms by themselves and I wash dishes as I dirty them, dry them and put them away. As I get mail I shred as I go. I have found that's so much easier then letting it all pile up and then having to do it.
As for the bathroom. I tend to clean the shower as I shower. In a previous blog I mentioned that you can use Arm & Hammer to clean just about everything. So I use it to clean the shower as I shower and it's less I have to do since I'm already in it.
Have the kids help too. Tell them, "OK, we are really going to clean house, I'm giving you each of you a box, please put all the toys and clothes you don't use in them." Explain to them that think before they put in and tell them you are going to donate. Have everyone take a box or two and just go through and just get rid of stuff you just don't need. That stuff is really the clutter.
Once all of that stuff is gone, your house will be more clean, easier to maintain, and you won't mind staying home more often and maybe less likely to go out and spend more money on something that you really just don't need.
[Saturday, January 13, 2007]
Since we have gone on a budget I have tried to cut the cost by buying generic brand food. I used to buy Campbell's Family size Tomato Soup and instead bought the generic. It tastes the same, has around the same in calories but I saved .30. I buy a lot of soup and buy different types of soup and I still do check the calories. If there is a ten calorie difference I'll buy the off brand.
There are things that I won't buy generic of. Diapers, I have tried different ones but Pampers are the only ones that can hold up to my kids. I will only buy Kraft Cheese and Macaroni. When I make food for the kids, I eat with them. I remember being a kid at a friends house and they ate the off brand and I didn't like it cause it was clumpy. We had off brand last summer once and it still clumps. Some things I just can't buy the off brand of.
I do buy the off brand of wipes for "O" because I can save around $3.00 and I think that the off brand wipes are a lot nicer. Off brand cheese I love to buy it's cheap and tastes good. Off brand frozen vegetables I buy but not of broccoli because you get mainly stumps, but we love the stir-fry veggies.
Nine times out of ten I will buy the off brand of things (if there is one offered) but there are times I just can't. I haven't actually added up what I do save yet since we just started the budget but as we go I will update it.
If there is a good sale on the name brand, like a 10 for $10 I tend to see if it would make sense to buy it considering what I pay for the off brand.
Try the off brand sometime, it can add up after a while. Try it and decide, let me know what you can buy off brand and what items you just can't.
[Friday, January 12, 2007]
The other weekend we all went out to the Scottsdale Fashion Mall and while we were there we stopped to eat at a PB Loco (a tasty but over priced PB&J sandwich). Scottsdale is known to some as the "High-maintenance" place but none the less has annoying parents. We go there and I sit at the end part of the bench area and take the last two tables for the four of us to eat. There is this guy sitting there but I had no idea he was waiting for his wife and daughter to come back.
So the kids and I sit down to wait for "The Hubby" to bring our food and the guy's wife shows up with their 4-5 year old daughter. They sit down and the mom is so scared of her child that she doesn't make her sit at the table with them, instead the girl sits closer to our table. Now I don't like to be mean but maybe I should have said something to the mom and had her move her daughter because I thought she might have had a little common sense to move her herself.
Nope. And to top it off she talked to the daughter as if she were a baby and fed her like one too. No, there didn't seem to be anything wrong with the girl, yes she looked like she could feed herself.
Lesson of the day?? Please think of not only you but really of other people when you are out in public with the kids. You have to show them that you are the boss and if they want to be treated like a big boy/girl, then they must act like one. People really don't like it when your kids are staring at them while they eat or sitting at their table.
Have you had any experiences like this? How did you handle it? Please tell me because I'd like to know.
[Friday, January 12, 2007]
Oh how I have learned some wonderful cleaning tricks!! There is this ONE product I can use as a facial wash, bath soak, antacid(which I haven't used yet), I use it in baking cookies, bathroom and kitchen cleaner.
TAADAA!!! It's Arm & Hammer Baking Soda. I had no idea that this one product could do so many things. I got this little pamphlet in the mail and it's lists all the things it can do. There are so many ways you can use it, in the bathtub as a soaking measure and your skin will feel great. I used it to wash my face and now my skin feel refreshed and soft. I love to use it when I do laundry. I use one cup of baking soda instead of Clorox 2 and my laundry does seem to look a little better.
A cool little cheap trick you can use it with is once a week is mix teaspoon with your shampoo once a week and your hair really does become squeaky clean. I use it in both mine and my daughters hair.
The things I really like about this product is:
- It's cheap (I buy the 4lb. boxes, $1.57)
- No harmful fumes
- Hands don't feel all dry and bleeding after cleaning
- Can use it anywhere
- Safe for everyone
When you click on the Arm & Hammer link it will take you to the tour of the house and where you can use it in your house. There are different "Baking Soda Basics" you can use:
- SOLUTION--4 Tablespoons dissolved in 1 quart water.
- PASTE--3 parts Baking Soda 1 part warm water, mixed.
- SPONGE--Apply lightly to a damp sponge.
- SPRINKLE--Sprinkle directly on a surface.
You can use these "Basics" any way you need to. My "Hubby" says I am addicted to Arm & Hammer now. Our house is so clean. My sink looks almost brand new. My garbage and diaper pail smell good. My walls even look good. I highly recommend using it in the laundry.
I wish I would have known that it was a better facial scrub then the expensive Aveeno that I no longer use. I am eternally grateful to the makers of baking soda, they have changed my life and I also save money because of how cheap it is compared to buying all the other cleaning products and for different things and I know that I won't get hurt while cleaning with the baking soda.
HAPPY CLEANING!!!
[Thursday, January 11, 2007]
So, New Years Eve Eve I read an article about children, TV, and money. If you take away the TV then you spend more time with your kids, spend less money because you don't eat nearly as much, save money also because you don't feel like you need to go out, and you have a cleaner house (in my case).
New Years Eve I wake up and "N" really made me mad and that's when I said, "Self, you don't have to put up with his attitude." I didn't take it anymore, BTW he wanted to watch TV and I told him no and pitched a fit, and that's when I told "The Hubby" to grab the TV box, it's all going. We bought a 32'' flat panel HD TheaterWide TV a few months ago and I just grew really tired of it.
We put the TV in the box, put the speakers in a box, took the Shuttle Media Center machine and put it away. I even took all the DVD's and put them in a box (well, not all I kept the kid DVD's out). We still have one TV left, it's in the bedroom and it does have an XBOX 360 hooked up so we can watch DVD's and play games. I went to far as to canceling the cable.
Now we have one TV that's not even hooked up, no cable, what do you do now???? That's right you organize and clean your house. I now use the entertainment center as the game and crafts place. We rearranged the living room, office, and master bedroom. My house has never been more clean EVER!!
It has now been almost two weeks and we are doing great. "N" loves to read me The Cat and The Hat and Green Eggs and Ham. He is now pulled out of daycare as well. "O", we are still working on slowly, she was never hooked on the TV but still has an attitude. Now, I'm not saying that we don't watch TV, we just watch two movies a weekend. They can pick a movie to watch for Saturday and Sunday. After the movie is done then we find something else to do.
Luckily "N" got some really cool games for Christmas. "O" plays with her dolls, purse, and will sit down for about five minutes to read a story. I read more but now I'm so focused on cleaning that I don't really read as much as I did a week ago.
We also put ourselves on a budget but luckily before the budget went into effect "The Hubby" bought me both a Scooba and Roomba (from WOOT! for a discounted price). I use my robots all the time. If the kids and I get bored, we start one of the robots and we watch it for a little bit then go do something else.
Since we no longer have the TV our lives are much better and cleaner. With the robots that means I have more time with my kids and I never have to wash or vacuum my floors again.
