It was "The Hubby's" birthday the other day and I asked him what he wanted and he said nothing. So I hired a babysitter and we went out to dinner, walked around and then went to Target and Circuit City. I was interested in getting a Sony PSP. It makes sense because you can watch movies and they have some kid-like games for it. As we were looking, the sales guy from Circuit City (who obviously is a gaming nerd but sweet) was trying to sell us a PS3 and there is NO WAY I'd ever buy one.  And so we talked about some games, mainly Guitar Hero (the best game EVER!) and it came down to us deciding on just waiting and doing more research.

We left and went home and never spoke of the PSP or anything the rest of the night. Yesterday while the kids' were at the Halloween party at school we go to lunch and then he decides that he really wants the PSP. We then go to EB Games to get it and we bought the one with the 1GB memory stick, Family Guy show, and the game Daxter (all included) and then bought a couple games for it.

After I pick up the kids we all go out to dinner and then we go to Fry's Electronics just for something to do. I ask a sales guy, "Do you have any Wii's in?" What does he say? Wait for it, wait for it......."Yes we do." he says to me. I'm all like SWEET because I love the Wii. We bought one around a year ago but we quit playing it and then got rid of it.

It's so funny because if you just wait and chill you'll get it but if you think you need it right now you'll be spending a fortune on eBay. I'll tell you later really where to look for one. And just so you now that Fry's has 50 of them and they are going on sale this Friday.

So anyway we buy it and then we go to Best Buy (and at this point I feel like the luckiest woman on earth because I got one) and we got the last Guitar Hero for the Wii. I so have luck on my side. I played it last night for about an hour and it was a total blast. The kids passed out around 7:30pm or so, it was a great night!!!

So it has been while since I have posted anything. There's no excuse for it I know. We moved to the new house, then the kids' and I went to Michigan for a month and my blog service wouldn't work and so now after we got back from the Wisconsin wedding I'm ready to go.

Things have changed around the house after we got back. "The Hubby" doesn't work as much and the kids' both go to daycare three days a week and I have gotten a part time seasonal job at Ann Taylor. We bought "N" a bike the weekend we got back from MI and he totally loves it. I got one too but I haven't really ridden one since around 1997. So I get a little nervous and to top it all off, we bought a carrier seat thing to go behind my seat for "O". I still haven't used the seat because I'm not yet comfortable with myself to ride with her on the back. Maybe if I had gotten the trailer instead it would be different.

We are pretty much settled in the new house except for the cat. He's being a jerk by chewing through cables and peeing in rooms. The last time that happened I gave to cat back to adoption agency since I just had a baby and I only had the cat for about 10 days. I guess it's time for me to do my research. He also dumps his water bowl.

The kids' both love the school they go to. "N" is learning how to write very well and his teacher is awesome. He is never sent to the office and I never get calls about him. "O" was nervous and she still has her days but her first week she was student of the week. She was moved to the older 2's and her teacher is awesome too.

I'm trying to potty train her and she won't pee on the toilet. She'll tell me just after she goes but she did pee twice in the toilet. I really hope I can get her done soon. I told her that she can then pick out any two packages of underwear that she wants once she starts going. I even try bribing her with candy (which I really don't like doing) and she still won't go. I guess it'll happen with time.

Well, I'm off to get the kids and they had their Halloween party this morning and I'm wondering how they are doing after their sugar high wore off.
