Sorry about not posting lately. Monday "The Hubby" had off as a holiday and yesterday he was finishing up rewiring a jack at my desk and I was just plain lazy.
I saw that Merck, the manufacturers of the HPV vaccine, has finally stopped lobbying to make girls have the HPV shot. Makes you wonder how much they paid the Gov. Rick Perry doesn't it? It goes to show that no matter who you are, you probably can be paid off to do what big business wants. Ok, I'm getting off my political rant.
I also saw this amazing story about a baby born at 22 weeks in Florida and has survived. That baby really wanted to live. She was actually able to breath when she was born by C-section back in October, 2006. She should be going home in a matter of days but are keeping her a few days longer because there's a chance she could be a little ill. She is actually the smallest baby born to date. When she was born she was 9 1/2" long and weighed less than 10 ounces.
Also, yet another recall and this time for baby food, cantaloupe, and cooked chicken. Makes you wish sometimes that you could produce your own food when so many are being recalled for salmonella and now botulism. Please read the recall to see if you have bought any items that are on the list.
