So I started my new job on Monday and I really like it and I'll like it more this coming Monday because we are getting our stock for the store FINALLY!!! We did get the keys to our store a week and a half early so you can see that since the other stores don't get their keys they weren't going to shift the schedule around just for my store.
So until probably December 30 or so it's going to be kind of hard for me to post because I wake up at 5 am to leave for work at 6am to be there now by 7:30-8am and I don't get home before 5pm. When I get home I pick the kids up on the way and I only get to spend 3 hours with them before they go to bed and I try to spend an hour with "The Hubby" before I go to bed. So you can see why it's going to be hard, luckily I have this weekend off but then I'll be working around 50hrs for a little while since there are only 7 people in my store and we have to stock OVER 12,000 sq ft of store.
The kids seem to have made the adjustment nicely. "The Hubby" wakes them up at 7am and they are in school no later than 8am. I do notice that we do have better quality time together. "N" now draws people instead of just scribbling. He's really turning into a little man. He has such a great personality and is just so smart. We are working on his reading skills which he's doing really good. If I had kept working with him I'm sure that he would be reading way better than he is now. I have learned and have regrets but I don't linger on them and I just try to fix and do the best I can everyday and do it the best I can.
"O" doesn't scream as much. She does get along better with "N", which is nice. We do end up going out a lot but tonight HANDS DOWN was the best night we've had going out in a very long time. We went to Applebees and we shared nachos and talked. "N" drew this awesome picture of his uncle/godfather, me, "The Hubby", "O' and grandma ("The Hubby's" mom). I'm so framing that picture. It was really nice because we just kind of sat there, talked, played, colored and all that stuff.
We then went to Staples because I needed stuff for work and "The Hubby" bought "N" another notebook and mini-mechanical pencils. As I'm giving "O" a bath he's downstairs actually writing words and drawing people. What's sad is that it took my brand spanking new job to see how awesome my family and life really is. I don't know if I said who I work for now but I will tell you in time and if there is one opening near you if you live in Nevada, California or Arizona, I suggest you shop there because of that reason.
