We bought this for "N" for Christmas 2003. His looks totally different than it does now and has been passed down to his little sister "O". We call ours the turtle but whatever. Both of the kids still like playing with it and it works well for us. I have seen the reviews on the new one and people aren't really liking the new one. I don't know anything about the new one because ours is so old.

I find the toy annoying but the kids love it so what can you do. "O" just likes pulling it around the house and pushing the buttons and "N" is a lot rougher with it and drops it to the floor. The thing is like a Timex, takes a licking but keeps on ticking.

It is a good toy for the kids and they enjoy it. Like I said before our is the one from 2003 and the new one does look really stupid. Of you want to see what mine looks like you can go to Ebay.
