We bought this for my daughter when she was seven months old for Christmas. She kind of liked it but didn't have the hand eye coordination to put the balls in the holes at that time. My then two year old enjoyed more than she did.

She wasn't really into the toy until she was nine months old. Once she figured out that she can put the balls into the toy herself she was hooked. She doesn't play with it so much now but when she does she really enjoys it.

If you decide to buy it, base it on how your child has developed. If they have pretty good coordination then buy it because they won't be as frustrated with it. I would wait until you child is eight months for them to really enjoy it.
