When the kids were young I spent the money and bought Pampers, don't get me wrong they are very nice. Now that "O" is older and won't potty train, I no longer splurge on the more expensive diapers. The Target brand is a good quality to me if not better. To me it seems to be able to hold more than the Pampers brand. They don't seem to break as easy (overnight) and seem just as nice.

In our quest for going natural, I came across a natural diaper ointment by Burt's Bees. It does work very well for "O" since she won't potty train and gets a lot more diaper rash. I love ... (read more)

I LOVE these diapers. They are so nice and I swear by these things. They are just the right size for little ones. There are some tricks though to diapering newborns:

    • When putting the diapers on, make sure to fold a little bit of the diaper down inside so that way if they poop or pee a lot that it won't go all over the place. It can catch most of it.
    • If you see their butts are starting to become irritated, start a diaper rash cream before it gets to bad. My fav is (read more)

I got these wipes in a box of diapers that I bought. I'm not a big fan of them because they are not very thick or big. Your have to use three or more depending on how messy their bottoms are. I really like the Parent's Choice from Walmart. Those are some heavy duty inexpensive wipes.

I think that most off brand wipes (at least for me) seem to do better than the name brand kinds. I did use the Pampers wipes until they were gone because I'm not the one who can pass up free wipes but I ... (read more)

When "N' was born I did everything by the book and what my Lamaze teacher said to do. She said, "When you build your registry, have people buy you different types of diapers in different sizes." Back when "N" was a newborn I got both Pampers Swaddlers and Huggies.

I didn't like Huggies from the very beginning. If he went poop, it went right up his back and through his clothes. The tabs were not very stretchy and just didn't look or feel comfortable. I tried them on "O" last week ... (read more)

Both of my kids have grown up with Pampers. I have tried many kinds of diapers and when I realized that these are what are going to work, I stuck with these.

What I like. The tabs that velcro on the front are nice and stretchy. When the diaper is on, it goes part way up their back (if they have diarrhea that you can either fold the back down if they are in size 2, or if they are older will just protect them from a huge mess. They are soft inside and I think they hug their bodies well ... (read more)

A few weeks after my son was born I had to break down and buy a diaper pail and wanted a no fuss no muss kind. I did some research and found this one. It was nice because you can use it even after you don't have kids in diapers. A really nice feature about this is you can put a regular garbage bag in if you don't want to spend the $20.00 on the refills bags.

I'll admit that after a while that it will stink but what diaper pail doesn't stink after having nasty diapers in it for ... (read more)
