Santa brought this for "N" in 2005 because he was starting to get into games then. He really has yet to get into it, if he's really bored he'll ask to play it. He's in a phase right now for playing Memory but that's ok.

I don't know if it's because there is just so much going on on the board that he just find it overwhelming or what but I would say to buy this for any child over the age of four only because if you buy it earlier, it could be just gathering dust.

You know your ... (read more)

We love this book. "N" loves to "read" it to us. Really he has the book memorized, either way it's cool, but he still loves us to read it to him. He has gotten more into Dr. Seuss lately (I think because he loves the rhyming) and I love reading them to him. Because we read Dr. Seuss so much that afterwards I find myself still rhyming.

I love this book as I said before but it really is a fun book to read with your kids.

"N" loves to read this book to us. He'll sit with us on the sofa and tell us he wants to read us a story and will tell us exactly how the story goes.

Luckily "N" was born loving books and has sit through me reading them since he was about 6 months old. He didn't like Dr. Seuss until maybe six months ago but now he really loves all Dr. Seuss books.

Buy these for you kids because they love the silly tongue twisters and love it even more if you mess a few up because you're ... (read more)

Grandma sent this to "N" for Christmas this past year and he totally loves it. We play it a few times a week. Since he is so young that I don't take all the tiles out but instead take about 10 pairs out and just use those and switch them. I think that since he's so young that he might get overwhelmed with all the tiles out at once. We slowly add more in so that soon he'll be able to play with all the tiles.

Because N" got it when he was closer to four years old I don't know if it ... (read more)

We bought this for "N" for Christmas 2005. He was getting into games and he was almost three so I thought we'd get a head start. He likes the game and we play it a couple times a week. When he got the game, he knew how to count and colors so the only hard part was teaching him how to play.

Once he figured out how to play he really enjoyed it. I even let him move my guy just so he can get some extra play time. I highly recommend this game for about a three and a half year old because I ... (read more)

I have had this game forever and my hubby doesn't like playing it with me so I have taught my almost four year old how to play. It says for 7 and up but it's good for his age. He's not able to hold the cards but he knows colors and numbers.

It's a fun game that does help them learn colors and numbers, the only problem I still have is trying to make him understand what lose a turn, reverse, draw two, and so mean. We are getting there but I recommend this for kids three and up who are ... (read more)

"N" is really into Thomas and has been for almost a year now, we decided that Santa should get this for him. It is a huge, heavy, hardcover book and he totally loves it. We started reading it about a week ago and are already on page 133.

It has all the stories ever written (or just about all) and we will sit down for up to an hour at a time and read. It's good quality time that we spend together and it's something he really enjoys. I recommend this for anyone who knows a child who is ... (read more)

"N's" aunt sent him this for Christmas this year and he really likes it. It's a cool game that we sit and play together but I wish that LeapFrog would include the pronunciations of the words in Spanish. Luckily a friend of ours is trying to teach me.

Whether you use it to teach them Spanish or just use it as the memory game, it's still really good. Since "N" is almost 4, I have found that it's easier to take about 10 pairs of tiles instead of all of them so that way he's able to focus ... (read more)

We bought this for "N" for Christmas 2003. His looks totally different than it does now and has been passed down to his little sister "O". We call ours the turtle but whatever. Both of the kids still like playing with it and it works well for us. I have seen the reviews on the new one and people aren't really liking the new one. I don't know anything about the new one because ours is so old.

I find the toy annoying but the kids love it so what can you do. "O" just likes pulling it ... (read more)

"O" received this as a Christmas present last year and liked it but wasn't able to play with it by herself. Once she understood that she had to push the lever then the ball would come down and the toy would make noise. "N" and I were the ones that taught her how to use it but he was really the one that did it.

It's a fun toy and she really loves it now. It's another good cause and effect toy. I noticed that she doesn't really care what's inside the balls but still loves the whole ... (read more)
