I wanted to say thank you to Mom Central for sending me this game that my kids really enjoy playing.  What's really cool is the fact that my 3 and 5 year old will play this together without me.  To me the game really does help with the sharing aspect, there are a few activities that she can't do with this game but "N" can so he ends up doing the ones she can't and giving her the prizes.

I guess I should tell you about the game before I start giving you ... (read more)

Saturday was date night and "The Hubby" has been looking at this game forever and finally decided to treat himself by buying it.  Usually when he buys games like Fable or Halo I just watch and never play but this one reminded me of Rise Of Nations (which I totally love) and I started playing it Sunday night.  I was defeated the first time but then I actually ended up winning the next game which took me about three hours to play, on easy.  I play a little bit each ... While our daughter was away for a few weeks we bought "N" Magnetix because they were on sale and because I'm tired of him playing with just Hot Wheels and Thomas The Train.  "The Hubby" and "N" sat on the living room floor for hours just making different things.  When it came time to put it some place we made sure to tell him that these DO NOT go anywhere near your face.

Since he's 5 and doesn't put stuff in his mouth I know that we are ... (read more)

We were able to find the Wii Fit on Craigslist a few weeks ago and we all put a profile on it.  It's a little above my five and three year old but it was worth a shot.  To begin first make sure that you have a Mii made and then you can add your Mii to the Fit profile, if you have friends coming over you can use Trial for them.  As you set up your profile, it asks you your height, age, how heavy your clothes are so it can take into account your weight.  To be able to graph ... I was sent an email asking me to take a look at this site/show called In The Motherhood and it starts Lea Remini, Jenny McCarthy and Chelsea Handler.  It's now in it's second season of webisodes and they are funny.  Suave and Sprint are the funding behind the show and it's cool because you can submit your funny stories about what has happened to you (kids throwing temper tantrums, etc) and if you're chosen then they will make your story ... While on our trip in Palm Desert, CA we were stuck in the hotel room because Palm Desert is really boring. So the kids and I walked over to Target and bought a few games. This was one of them because I know that "N" loves to play Bingo. This is cool because it has four interchangeable spinners: Math, Shapes and Colors, Numbers and an Animal/Word sounds one.

With the four spinners you also get four of the shape, number and animal/word sound bingo cards and also get 60 Tad ... (read more)

This game is really meant for 3+. It is a cute fun game. You can have up to four players and they come with these cute little chefs in four colors. You take the board out and you put your guys at your favorite food, roll the dice to see who goes first and away you go. The goal of the game is to be the first person to put the last ingredient on and open the little window for a surprise.

It comes with this cookbook as the object of the game. You pick out a recipe from  the cookbook ... (read more)

This is a really cute game and I thought it was fun for "N", "O" and me. On the box it says 3+ but I played it with my two and half year old just fine. It's fun because "N's" into puzzles and so I helped him put this cool zoo one together and then we got out the two booklets it comes with The Beginner for "O" and Advanced for "N". The puzzle has this coating on it that will let you use a dry erase pen (that it comes with) so you can circle what you need to find on the puzzle and then when ... (read more)

I don't ever remember playing this game but I remember having it in the attic. "N" loves this game and showed me how to play it. It's fun but the hardest part of it is trying the t ell him how to roll the dice. Other than that it's cool because you can make your own little bug. Depending on the number you roll on your dice is what body part you get to choose to have. You have to start with a 1 (for the body) then a 2 (for the head) and then 3-6 is either the legs, hat, teeth, whatever you ... (read more)

This too is a good game for kids. "N" and I have been playing this for around four months now. It took a little while for me to remember how to play and how to explain it to him but once it all clicked, then it is pretty good. I do let him win sometimes this because it can be a little hard for a four year old to play. It took me maybe a couple hours to actually get him to understand it. He loves it though. His favorite part is when he gets to jump over me and take my guy and when he gets to ... (read more)
