This too is a good game for kids. "N" and I have been playing this for around four months now. It took a little while for me to remember how to play and how to explain it to him but once it all clicked, then it is pretty good. I do let him win sometimes this because it can be a little hard for a four year old to play. It took me maybe a couple hours to actually get him to understand it. He loves it though. His favorite part is when he gets to jump over me and take my guy and when he gets to say, "king me".
It's a good way for them to start learning concentration, logical thinking, and all those other fine qualities they need to learn as they grow. It really is a fun game, as long as you know where all the pieces are.
If you want to spend a few hours teaching something really new to your child/grandchild, etc., you really should have this in your arsenal for entertaining kids because it will be one of the best $3.00 you'll ever spend.
